(More customer reviews)Stuck with using an older system which only had USB 1.1 available. Bought a VIA PCI hub but whenever I'd plug a USB storage device in it would bring the system to a crawl. Resolved the issue with this wonderful NEC PCI hub. No difference in system performance even when moving large amounts of data between internal and external drives or even between external drives. There may be better NEC USB hubs available, but for the money I'm completely satisfied.
