It packs four USB ports and 2 Firewire ports on the back of the card, along with an internal connector for each which I did not need/use. The card functions great in Windows Vista, I've hooked up my digital camera, external hard drives, and ripped DV from my video camera onto my hard drive with ease. Great speed on this card and full compatibility w/Vista...just what I needed!
